has been written to help readers understand the 7 signs of stress / not coping and what to do about them before they turn the corner into the darkness
of a mental health illness.
These were the 7 signs I wish I had taken note of, the 7 signs that I wish I had known were indicators that I wasn’t coping and 7 signs that led me to
the darkest of days.
This book also covers ‘mental health in the workplace’ and ‘mental health in relationships’, both areas which play a huge part in our lives. In the book
there are some pointers for managers to look for when managing teams, tips around what and what to not to say for those who are currently on a dark
journey through stress / mental illness and why communication is so important.
I explain a little about my road to recovery and how today I have learnt to recongnise any signs of stress in myself and others. I share some tools and
techniques that I have discovered that have assisted me to come through the rain and back out into the sunshine.
It is my hope that this book will help many to understand why ‘not coping’ can lead to stress plus further mental health issues and how, by recongnising
this steps can be put in to place lighten the journey ahead so that help / intervention can be sought to stop the path getting so dark.
